Happy Easter
Today is Easter Sunday, the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ from the dead. We’d like to express the real meaning of this day. Jesus Christ died on The Cross for our sins, and on the third day He rose again. This is why we celebrate Easter. He did this out of sacrifice so that we may enter into a relationship with Him and be forgiven for our sins.
“Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.”- Luke 9:23-24
If any of you have any questions about having a relationship with God, I challenge and pray that you would contact me at justen@nwchristianmusic.com I would love to link faith with you, and help answer your questions.
Have a blessed Easter with family and friends. Another blog post with a recap from the Habitat For Humanity concert, is on its way soon.

Redesigned Music Video Section
We have given the Music Video section of Northwest Christian Music a new look and feel to it. We felt like the old one didn’t leave us with much room to expand.
The new section is broken up by Artists so you don’t have to scroll through a whole list of videos to find what you are looking for. Now you can simply just click on an Artist’s name and go right to their videos. This will be much easier on us as we start adding more and more music videos, as well as be less confusing for you.
You’ll also find the “Latest Music Video” on the side of the page, much like the front of the site. So every time we add a video, it’ll show up their first, as well as on the Artist’s Music Video pages.
Soon we’ll also be re-doing our navigation bar, so you can find the Music Video’s easier rather than clicking on Media.
Hope you like this feature…
Have a great day,
Justen Martian

No More Delay On Artist News & Updates On Frontpage
As of a couple of weeks ago, we have fixed the glitch that was not showing the latest News Item on the main page. It was caching an older post for an hour after a new one was posted. We moved to a new method of delivering the latest post. This new method has no delay and shows the post the second it goes live. Thought I’d fill you in on that.
As always you can get the latest news on the front page or visitng the News Page directly. You can also subscirbe via an RSS Feed. We also deliver the latest news if you are following us on Twitter.
Thanks for browsing the website,
Justen Martian
New Email List/Newsletter
Some of you may noticed when we sent out our last Monthly Newsletter, that it looked a little different. We have switched to a brand new email list which allows us to now have a template and make our newsletters look more professional than they have in the past. With the new list comes the need to get everyone moved over to it. We imported everyone from the old Email Lists, and you should of gotten a confirmation email confirming that your still interested in receiving our Newsletters still.
If for some reason you have not recieved that email. you can subscribe to the email list at the following link, or if you have never been subscribed before.

Officially A Non-Profit Organization
Opened the mail today, and found the letter we have been waiting for awhile. It was the letter from the Washington Secretary of State Office saying that “Northwest Christian Music” is now Officially A Non-Profit Organization. Just thought we’d update you on that.
More new things are on their way!
New Way To Submit Artist News & Updates
Submitting news has never been easier for artists. We have narrowed it down to a single form you have to fill out and submit. Very few people were emailing us news, so we had to find a better way to get it submitted.

Another way to submit news is subscribing news@nwchristianmusic.com to your email newsletters
Blog Posts and News Items On Twitter

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
I can hardly believe it, Christmas is about a week away. It seems to come upon us quicker and quicker each year. Hope you all have your shopping done, even though I know some of you are going to wait until the last minute.
The NW has been experiencing some really cold weather lately. With the weather came snow, freezing rain and some ice. Schools in the Portland area have been closed all week, giving the kids a jump start to their Winter vacation. Below I have included a few pictures.
With Christmas approaching, I want to encourage all of you to take some time and remember the true meaning of Christmas. Celebrating the birth of the Christ child. I think sometime we just look at Christmas as a time of gifts and family, which is great but it’s about a bigger thing. That is the birth of Christ, the greatest Christmas gift of them all.
In 2009, we are excited to bring you a lot of new things to the site and the local NW Christian music scene.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
Northwest Christian Music
New Video Player and Image Rotator
We have recently added two NEW features to the homepage of Northwest Christian Music, to try and give it some more flare. So, we added a “Whats Happening” rotating slide show on the front page, where you can link up to new things we have added to the site, such as: Album Reviews, Featured Artist, Upcoming Concerts and more!
Second thing we added is a new Video Player… New features of that are Full Screen capabilities, and a higher resolution. This will be used for watching Music Videos and other videos we decide to add to the site.
Bands/Artists: If you have music videos, please send them our way. We’d love to add them to website. You can email them to info@nwchristianmusic.com .
