OverKast Needs Lead Guitarist ASAP
Rock band OverKast looking for new lead guitar player. We are about to record 1st full length cd & looking at labels. Needs to be VERY solid and passionate for what they do, must be christian and share the close family values and closeness the band strives for, must have availability to practice a couple times a week and play weekends.
Working hard to become a full time ministry so serious people with gear should ask. Will book many more shows once new guy is trained up. Will be playing Christian and Secular venues. Ages 21-35 would be best.
NO 80’s guitar jammers, sorry but I just have to say that! We are not looking for the
next vai or van halen but should be fully able to pull out a rockin solo when needed. You can hear some of what I mean on the webpages although some new unreleased stuff is heavier than the stuff on the sites. This is a modern rock style band with some killer leads thrown in for measure, want to hit some more rythmic stuff like Skillet or Breaking Benjamin as well as melodic rockers and even some acoustics with piano and strings for diversity.
Full set ready, would need someone to learn what is there now with
your flair of course and go from there but must be fine with playing what the last guy had written. Must be creative when needed as well and a very solid studio person. Check out our demos on our page, everything is faster and a tad heavier than what you hear but you get the idea.
