Based out of Southern California Patrick Culp has two self-produced albums and in the works of a new album coming out in 2008. In Less then two years, Patrick has accumulated over one thousand independent record sales, and has developed a national following of over fifteen hundred loyal fans in listeners, is played over a 100 live shows, to over 6,000 live fans in his career as a musician. Patrick Culp is an experienced live-performer His shows, regardless the size, are known for the mix of intimacy and humor, Patrick is a crowd favorite. He started playing the guitar in 1996 and writing songs in July of 2001 before this Patrick was singing in a choir for two years.
With the release of the clever “Patrick Culp is my Friend” T-Shirt, the desire and commitment of fans to see Patrick perform live is growing. Teens and young adults with an affinity for Patrick's memorable songs and inspirational stories, began sporting the shirts at shows, in MySpace pictures, on college campuses, and most prominently at several summer camps where Patrick entertains each summer.
Outside of the shows and the studio, Patrick has dedicated himself to sharing music with the special needs community of Orange County CA. Each week Patrick leads worship for Young Life High Rollers, a Christian youth group for kids with disabilities. His heart for this community is seen in the time and effort he gives as a mentor, friend, and leader to these amazing young people. Patrick’s love for music is only rivaled by his faith in God and in his desire to serve Him through his artistry, a personal conviction that brings passion and meaning to his music. |
